Fair use: Harvest responsibly to keep access
This is a shared service with limited capacity. Send one request at a time, never in parallel, and wait for each response before sending the next. Back off when you get errors or time-outs. Clients that overload the endpoint will be blocked without notice. If you need a full copy more often than once a month, write to data@iisg.nl first.

Format fallback
Asking for a known format a record doesn't have does not raise
cannotDisseminateFormat. For example, ead on a library record
returns the MARC record instead. Check the root element of
<metadata> if your harvester mixes sets and formats.
